Plainly told, same as everything else on this site.

What we collect

When you join the early-access list, ask us a question, or reserve an edition, we ask for your email address and, depending on the form, a recipient's name, the Irish surname you'd like researched, and a county. That's the complete list: we don't ask for anything else, and we don't collect payment details anywhere on this site (there's no payment step yet).

Why we collect it

Only to do the things you've asked for: to email you when we launch, to follow up on a question you've sent us, or to know what to put on your certificate once ordering opens. We don't use it for anything beyond that, and we don't sell or share it with anyone outside the tools listed below.

Where it goes

• Formspree receives whatever you submit through our forms, so we can read and reply to it.
• Google Analytics only runs if you accept the cookie banner. It tells us how visitors find this site (which page, roughly which country), not who you are individually. If you click "Decline", it stays off.

Your choices

Want us to delete what you've sent us, or stop emailing you? Just ask: email us at hello@irishheritagepress.com and we'll action it directly. There's no automated system standing in the way.

Cookies

The only cookie-gated tracking on this site is Google Analytics, and it's off by default until you accept the cookie banner. We don't run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or any cross-site tracking.
